A few years ago Kine and Einy Paulsen asked themselves why they should watch a 3D movie with a $200 million budget while wearing cheap, used, unfashionable 3D glasses. And instantly an idea was born.
The twins from Norway founded INGRI:DAHL and in 2011 they launched their first models of Hollywood icons inspired and eco-friendly 3D glasses.
The brand’s name INGRI:DAHL is a combination of the names of Oscar-winning actress Ingrid Bergman and author Roald Dahl, both Scandinavian icons and inspiring personalities for the twins.
Kine and Einy both graduated from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business in finance and accounting, but have always had an interest in the fashion and entertainment industry. On Kickstart INGRI:DAHL succeeded in raising $10,000. With that money they have had a support for their Spring 2012 collection.
Thanks to Kine and Einy for revolutionising the look of 3D glasses and by that making it more fashionable to watch 3D movies!
