How Can I Get Accepted?
You’ll need a wide range of materials to get into this competitive New York City design school:
1. A completed online application form.
2. A $50 application fee.
3. An official high school or college transcript.
4. SAT or ACT results.
5. A completed Parsons Challenge exercise.
6. Portfolio submission with 8-12 pieces of work (drawings, photos, paintings, digital media or three-dimensional work): submitted online using SlideRoom or by CD/DVD through the mail.
How Many Students Get In?
Parsons enrolls nearly 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students, with 2,000 additional students taking single courses. The average class size for all programs is just 15 students. About 32 percent of their students are international.
When Do I Apply?
For Fall Admission, you may apply early by November 1st to hear of your possible acceptance by December. The regular decision deadline is February 1st to receive a decision letter by April 1st. If you’re transferring, you must apply by April 1st to hear back by May 1st. For Spring Admission, apply by November 1st for early decision. International students are encouraged to apply by October 1st.

How Much Does It Cost?
Parsons tuition is currently $18,400 for the AAS, BBA and BFA programs, which includes 12-19 credits. The graduate program costs $18,875. Factor in another $920 to $2,050 per year for the cost of art supplies.
