Pudel Fashion Week

What is the best thing to do on a Sunday afternoon?
Of course, hanging out at the Golden Pudel Club, a great club in Hamburg, and having fun with perfect trash! I’m glad that we heard of this event and that we got the chance to be there when the Pudel celebrated its very own fashion week!

The event was part of the White Circus project by Katharina Czemper. Katharina gathered second hand clothing from her friends, created the new label „Die Marke Vintage“ and presented the super fancy stuff. That was the foundation for a great anti-fashion week. The absolute highlight of the spectacle definitely was the trash fashion show, including an auction.

All clothes were presented on a catwalk. They even made sure to treat their „VIP“ guests right, who were placed inside of a separated „front row“ area. Directed by a terrific auctioneer, the pieces were sold bit by bit. Thrilled by the whole event, the bids went up in no time – and sold for prices that I really didn’t expect. Especially the final bid for a jumpsuit blew me away: the new owner got it for more than 100 euros. It was an absolutely great event, and although we were outbidden all the time, it was great fun to bid and watch.

White Circus is a permanent project by Katharina, and we are looking forward to her next events!
